Protect the person.

Device pricing protects hardware. Endpoint pricing protects the user. Outbound Monitor attributes outbound connections to the process and authenticated user that generated them. Exfiltration Shield flags coordinated slow-drip transfer patterns across user sessions. Silicon Wall's user-context tracking surfaces per-user activity from the endpoint. These capabilities travel with the person across every machine the person touches. Endpoint licensing is coming soon - not yet purchasable.

Where this matters most clearly is shared infrastructure. A retail register might see twenty cashiers log in over a week. That is one device and twenty endpoints. A Citrix farm with five hundred users is one farm and five hundred endpoints. Endpoint count equals authenticated user count regardless of device count or session count.
